This was the sixth day of testing overall of the <strong>Formula 1<\/strong> 2018 pre-season testing. Ricciardo set the time on the newest and softest compound Pirelli tyre &#8211; the hypersofts.<\/p>\n<h2>Daniel Ricciardo and Red Bull top the time charts on Day 2<\/h2>\n<p>Ricciardo was at the wheel of the RB14 the whole day and racked up 165 laps. The <strong>Mercedes<\/strong> and <strong>Ferrari<\/strong> drivers shared the driving duties and clocked 175 laps and 115 laps overall. Reigning world champion <strong>Lewis Hamilton<\/strong> was second on the time sheets with the lap time set on the ultrasoft compound tyres.<\/p>\n<p>The new <strong>Toro Rosso<\/strong> and <strong>Honda partnership<\/strong> continued their consistent run with <strong>Brendon Hartley<\/strong> completing 119 laps and fifth on the time sheet. All the other teams, except McLaren continued to rack up the mileage with 100+ laps. <strong>McLaren,<\/strong> with <strong>Fernando Alonso<\/strong> at the wheel, managed only 57 laps.
