It was last year when <strong>Martin Truex Jr.<\/strong> became the first driver to win all three stages in a race. We saw this happen again this weekend, but with Harvick being the winner. <\/span><\/p>\n<h1>Kevin Harvick Wins Pennzoil 400, His Second Win In A Row<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This race did not see many incidents. Stage 1 was green from start to finish. The race started with<strong> Ryan Blaney<\/strong> on pole position, alongside <strong>Kevin Harvick<\/strong>. <strong>Jimmie Johnson<\/strong> went to the rear, continuing his rough start to the season.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Around lap 33, everyone started to pit under green. <strong>Michael McDowell<\/strong> had the lead for a brief amount of time, until he went to the pits too. Harvick got back his lead, and won stage 1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Harvick was with <strong>Kyle Larson<\/strong> in the front row for stage 2. On lap 104, <strong>Michael McDowell<\/strong> left the race due to mechanical issues. Harvick won stage two, while having a significant lead. Blaney, who was second place at that time, was 5 seconds behind. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After pitting for the final stage, Harvick found himself a few places down.<strong> Kyle Busch and Joey Logano<\/strong> found themselves in the front row. We went green for just under 10 laps, when <strong>Jamie McMurray<\/strong> had smoke coming off his right front tire after hitting the outer wall. This threw out a yellow, and ended Jamie\u2019s day. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After going green once again, we saw our first and only incident today which included more than one car. <strong>Kurt Busch\u2019s<\/strong> car veered right while on the inside lane, riding himself up the wall and taking <strong>Chase Elliott<\/strong> along with him. This ended both of their race days. Elliott was the only <strong>Hendrick Motorsport<\/strong> car on the lead lap. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After a longer than usual yellow flag due to cleaning up fluid on the track, we got a green flag to the finish. Harvick was able to get his lead back, and win the race. This is Harvick\u2019s second cup race win in a row, both coming from 1.5 mile tracks. His third win this year, when you include last week\u2019s <strong>Xfinity Series<\/strong> victory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have gotten all three NASCAR tours coming to the tracks for three weeks straight now. Next week, we slim down to two races in a weekend, when we head to <strong>Phoenix<\/strong>. The one mile track will play host to the <strong>DC Solar 200<\/strong> and the <strong>TicketGuardian 500<\/strong>.
