Formula E<\/a> is back, and it’s time for the Miami E-Prix, round five of Season 11, after a two-month stop.<\/p>\n

Miami E-Prix: Formula E debuts on the Homestead-Miami Speedway<\/h2>\n

Formula E resumes following a two-month break after the E-Prix of Jeddah<\/a>\u00a0and is running on a new track. The electric category lands on the famous Homestead-Miami Speedway, known mainly for NASCAR races.<\/p>\n

The layout has been adapted for the E-Prix. The track boasts fifteen curves and three straights, along a total of 3.551 km. This configuration is called the Road Course.<\/p>\n

Formula E has previously raced in Miami but on another circuit and has not returned to Florida for ten years. In 2015, the race was held in Biscayne Bay, with Nicolas Prost taking the win.<\/p>\n

With the E-Prix of Miami, Formula E enters the heart of the season. From now until the end of the season, the championship will not see such long breaks as the one we’ve just come out of.<\/p>\n

The Standings Ahead of the Formula E Miami E-Prix<\/h3>\n

The Drivers’ Championship sees Oliver Rowland<\/a> in first place.<\/p>\n

The English driver from Nissan, who triumphed in the last race on stage, is ahead of everyone with 68 points. Rowland has had two wins since the start of the season and has a few points ahead of the runner-up.<\/p>\n

Behind Nissan\u2019s talent there is Taylor Barnard<\/a>. The surprising rookie in Jeddah has become the youngest pole-sitter in Formula E history and so far has scored 51 points.<\/p>\n

In third position is Antonio Felix Da Costa<\/a>, who with his Porsche has found two podiums and 39 points.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Pascal Wehrlein arrives in Miami hungry for ransom. The reigning world champion is only eighth with a total of 25 points collected over four races.<\/p>\n

Nissan is also in first place in the Team standings. The Japanese team are first with 68 points. These points are all thanks to Rowland, as Norman Nato is yet to finish the points zone.<\/p>\n

McLaren chase Nissan<\/a>, and the Papaya Team are just one point away. A little further behind are Porsche, with 64 points.<\/p>\n

The Manufacturers’ championship sees Nissan once again in first position. They have collected 130 points during the first four races of Season 11.<\/p>\n

Second position is held by Stellantis with 83 points. In third place are Porsche<\/a>, who have achieved 80 points.<\/p>\n

    Miami E-Prix – The schedule<\/h3>\n

    The race weekend will take place over two days, following the traditional format. Teams and drivers will have two free practice sessions. The first session will take place on Friday, the second on Saturday.<\/p>\n

    On Saturday, April 12, there will also be the qualifying and then the race. The pole position hunt will take place in the morning, while the E-Prix will be held during the early afternoon.<\/p>\n
