In the final part of the IndyCar 101 series, you will get to know the drivers, ages, number of full-time seasons, and a little bit about their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Team Penske<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Will Power<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">43\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">18th<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/06\/09\/road-america-2024-how-will-power-ended-his-2-year-win-drought\/\" target=\"_self\">Power<\/a> is a two-time INDYCAR champion (2014, 2022) and the 2018 Indy 500 winner. He holds the record for most pole positions with 70 and has 44 race wins, ranking fourth all-time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scott McLaughlin<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">31\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5th<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/02\/28\/scott-mclaughlin-claims-maiden-indycar-win-at-st-petersburg\/\" target=\"_self\">McLaughlin<\/a> was named the IndyCar and Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year. Since then, he has racked up 7 race victories and 19 podiums. Last year he finished 3rd in the drivers&#8217; championship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Josef Newgarden<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">34\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">14th<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Newgarden is a two-time <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2025\/01\/01\/reliving-josef-newgardens-first-championship-winning-season\/\" target=\"_self\">IndyCar champion<\/a> (2017, 2019) and a two-time <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/12\/06\/a-look-back-the-2023-indianapolis-500\/\" target=\"_self\">Indianapolis 500 winner<\/a> (2023, 2024). With 31 career wins, he\u2019s the winningest active American driver and tied for 10th on the all-time list.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Arrow McLaren<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Pato O\u2019Ward<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">25\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>O&#8217;Ward returns to Arrow McLaren for his sixth INDYCAR season. He has earned 7 wins and 26 podiums with three coming last season including at <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.indycar.com\/Global\/News\/2024\/07\/07-07-NICS-Race-MO\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mid-Ohio<\/a> becoming the first driver to win a race in IndyCar&#8217;s hybrid era.<\/p>\n<p><b>Nolan Siegel<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">20 <\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1st full season<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After making 12 starts, 10 with Arrow McLaren, as a rookie in 2024, Siegel enters his first full season. Throughout his seasons, he has racked up 12 wins and 32 podiums.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scott Dixon<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">44\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23rd<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dixon continues his long career by being on the 2025 IndyCar grid. This year marks his 24th season with Chip Ganassi Racing, beginning in 2002 while the series was still known as CART. He is a six-time <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2018\/06\/14\/scott-dixon-takes-a-step-up-ladder-of-all-time-indycar-series-winners\/\" target=\"_self\">IndyCar champion<\/a> and the 2008 Indianapolis 500 winner. He holds the most wins of any active driver with 58, which puts him second all-time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Kyffin Simpson<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">20\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>2nd<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simpson enters his sophomore season driving for Chip Ganassi Racing. In his first season, he finished in the top 15 five times. He won the LMP2 championship in the European Le Mans Series and secured LMP2 class victories at IMSA and the Asian Le Mans Series.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Andretti Global<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Colton Herta<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b>24<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>7th<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Herta enters his 7th season in IndyCar. He became the youngest driver to win a race at the 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/12\/21\/herta-history-at-cota\/\" target=\"_self\">Circuit of The Americas<\/a> and the youngest to earn pole position. Since then, he has earned 8 wins. Last year, he finished second in the drivers&#8217; championship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Kyle Kirkwood<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4th<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kirkwood returns to Andretti Global for his fourth season. He&#8217;s won three titles across multiple series. His first win came in 2023 at Long Beach.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Marcus Ericsson<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b>34<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>7<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ericsson returns to Andretti Global for his seventh season. The 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner is a former Formula One driver, racing for Sauber from 2015-18.<\/p>\n<h2><b>AJ Foyt Racing<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>David Malukas<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>David Malukas joins AJ Foyt Racing for his fourth season. He spent time in INDY NXT and finished second in 2021, with a series-record 16 podium finishes. After missing the first eight races due to an injury, Malukas raced the rest of the season, he finished in the top 10 twice.<\/p>\n<p><b>Santino Ferrucci<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>8<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ferrucci is in his fifth full-time season and eighth overall in IndyCar. He returns for his third season with AJ Foyt Racing as the driver of the No. 14 car. Last year he earned his first pole position in Portland and finished in the top five twice.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Meyer Shank Racing<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Marcus Armstrong<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>3rd<\/p>\n<p>Armstrong joins Meyer Shank Racing in 2025 after two seasons with Chip Ganassi Racing. He picked up his first IndyCar podium with a third-place finish at Detroit.<\/p>\n<p><b>Felix Rosenqvist\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b>3<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:<\/b> 7<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Rosenqvist won the 2019 Rookie of the Year, and his first win came at Road America. Last year he finished in the top 10 eight times, including a podium at Thermal.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ed Carpenter Racing<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Christian Rasmussen<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">24\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>2nd<\/p>\n<p>Rasmussen returns for his first full season in IndyCar with Ed Carpenter Racing after a rookie season in 2024. He made history as the second-youngest driver to win a race and pole position. He debuted in 2007 at age 18 and drives for a team co-owned by his father.<\/p>\n<p><b>Devlin DeFrancesco<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>3rd<\/p>\n<p>After spending the 2024 season in the IMSA SportsCar Series, DeFrancesco returns to IndyCar with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. His first two seasons were spent with Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport where his highest finishing position was 12th at Gateway.<\/p>\n<p><b>Louis Foster<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">21\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>1st<\/p>\n<p>Coming off of his 2024 INDY NXT Championship victory, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/12\/31\/louis-fosters-junior-career-lead-him-to-rll-racing\/\" target=\"_self\">Foster<\/a> is to make his debut on the 2025 IndyCar grid racing with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing racing full-time.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Juncos Hollinger Racing\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Sting Ray Robb<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>3rd<\/p>\n<p>Sting Ray Robb is moving to Juncos Hollinger Racing, the same team he won the USF Pro 2000 championship in 2020. He also finished runner-up in INDY NXT by Firestone in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><b>Conor Daly<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>6<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th full season<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Daly returns to JHR for his first full-time season with the team after delivering their first podium in 2024. His IndyCar career started in 2017, and since then he&#8217;s been splitting time between series.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Dale Coyne Racing<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Rinus Veekay<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age:\u00a0<\/b>23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<b>Season:\u00a0<\/b>4th<\/p>\n<p>VeeKay moves to Dale Coyne Racing following five years at Ed Carpenter Racing. In those five years, he earned one win and four podiums. Last year VeeKay placed 13th in the championship with a best-race finish of 5th<\/p>\n<p><b>Jacob Abel<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">23\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b>1st<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2025\/02\/05\/taking-a-look-at-dale-coynes-rookie-driver-jacob-abels-racing-career\/\" target=\"_self\">Abel<\/a> is another rookie on the 2025 IndyCar grid. In 2024, Abel earned three wins and three poles to finish as the runner-up in the INDY NXT Championship. This earned him a seat with Dale Coyne.<\/p>\n<h2><b>PREMA<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Callum Ilott<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">26\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><b>Season: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4th<\/span><\/p>\n<p>After spending most of 2024 in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Ilott returns full-time with the newest IndyCar team, PREMA Racing. He raced with PREMA in the 2017 Formula 3 Championship.<\/p>\n<p><b>Robert Schwartzman<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Age: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">25\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><b>Season: <\/b>1st<\/p>\n<p>Shwartzman makes his rookie debut on the 2025 IndyCar grid. Shwartzman raced for PREMA from 2018-2021 in other championships like F3 and F2.
