Now that we are into 2025, the F1 Academy grid is finalising its shape ready for its opening race in Shanghai between March 21 to 23.<\/p>\n
Aurelia Nobels joins the grid again with PUMA and ART Grand Prix as the latest confirmed driver.<\/p>\n
After making her F1 Academy debut in 2024, Nobels has established herself as a promising talent in the series.<\/p>\n
This will be her final year. Drivers are given a two-year limit to allow new drivers to compete. This also gives more experienced drivers room to move on to other relevant series’ of their choosing.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n READ MORE:<\/strong> Why F1 Academy Is A Success Compared To The W Series<\/a><\/p>\n Nobels’ motorsport journey began in Brazilian F4 in 2022, where she finished 16th with 7 points.<\/p>\n The junior won the Girls On Track – Rising Stars program in December of that same year.<\/p>\n Much like Maya Weug, who received the same award in 2020, she was awarded a place in the Ferrari Driver Academy.<\/p>\n She then moved on to the Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships in 2023. Her performances in both series’ led her to join F1 Academy in 2024.<\/p>\n Her progression was evident in the 2024 season, where she secured six points-scoring finishes. This includes a standout fifth-place finish in Zandvoort Race 2, highlighting her growing potential.<\/p>\n Drivers such as Nobels are what F1 Academy is about – fostering young talent with much-needed track time and support. She finished 12th overall in the championship.<\/p>\n Her determination to improve in 2025 is palpable.
