Lewis Hamilton<\/a> paid the Ferrari factory in Maranello a visit for the first time, acquainting himself with new surroundings he would call home. He then shook hands with senior members and conducted vital drills ahead of his first test run in red.<\/p>\n

The Beginnings of a Colossal Partnership: Hamilton Pays Ferrari Maranello Factory a Visit<\/h2>\n

Lewis Hamilton set the world alight with his alliance with the Scuderia<\/a> confirmed last February. Even before his official factory visit in Maranello, this move came to be known as colossal, sending news sent the world into a tizzy.<\/p>\n

The sport’s joint-most successful driver joining the most successful marque was like two world powers aligning. It was nothing short of special, with sporting teams across the world sharing their reaction<\/a> to the situation.<\/p>\n

Despite Hamilton’s difficult recent form, many expect the Briton to bounce back<\/a> with aplomb in 2025. Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur too remained unfazed by the 40-year-old’s struggles with the W15<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hamilton notched up 223 points in 2024 for the Silver Arrows, in his final season with the team from Brackley. Despite breaking his near-1000-day win duck, he wasn’t able to outscore teammate George Russell.<\/p>\n

In a tough season with sporadic success, Hamilton was outpaced over one lap by his younger compatriot. Russell blanked his more experienced teammate 19-5 in qualifying sessions, while their race record read 9-14 in Russell’s favour.<\/p>\n

Russell also obliterated Hamilton in the sprints, outpacing the 7-time champion 5-1 in qualifying and race trim.<\/p>\n

Even still, there’s no doubt Hamilton still has the fighting spirit in him. His pace was on display in Las Vegas. The Briton stitched together a special comeback drive to finish second behind his teammate, after starting tenth.<\/p>\n

Such stellar pace has given Vasseur, the Ferrari team, and several fans around the world hope that Hamilton can indeed find his best at the\u00a0rosso corsa<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Hamilton’s Ferrari journey officially began on January 1st, when he was finally out of his Mercedes contract, and officially could call himself a Ferrari driver.<\/p>\n

The Journey Begins: First Signs of Motorsport Grandeur as Hamilton Pays Ferrari Factory Visit in Maranello<\/h3>\n

Hamilton officially paid a visit to the iconic Ferrari victory in Maranello for the first time on Monday. The Briton took strides to get acquainted with his new locales at Maranello, including learning Italian<\/a> to gel with the engineers.<\/p>\n

The Briton will also take part in a TPC (testing previous car) programme on January 22nd. He will be driving the Ferrari F1-75 car around the Fiorano racetrack alongside new teammate Leclerc. This is in a bid to learn the technicalities of the Ferrari cars.<\/p>\n

However, the focus remained on technical briefings and seat fittings on Monday. Hamilton’s first visit saw the 7-time champion standing outside the iconic Ferrari factory in Maranello. The iconic Ferrari F40 also took a spot in the background.<\/p>\n
