After a challenging Round 1, Pascal Wehrlein will be looking to redeem himself and reclaim his place among the front-runners.<\/p>\n<h4>Mexico City E-Prix Circuit<\/h4>\n<p>The Mexico City E-Prix is a long-standing event in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/12\/03\/formula-e-season-11-what-to-expect-from-this\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Formula E calendar<\/a>, having debuted in Season 2. Typically held in January, the race takes place on the renowned <strong>Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez<\/strong>, the same track where <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/10\/28\/five-takeaways-from-the-2024-mexico-city-gp-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Formula 1 competes<\/a>. Initially utilizing primarily the oval section, the circuit has expanded over the years, with the most recent updates in 2023 extending its length to <strong>2.630 km<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The clockwise track features 19 turns (12 right, 7 left) and includes the legendary Peraltada corner, which Formula E drivers tackle in its entirety &#8211; a key difference from its use in F1.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend\u2019s race will span 35 laps (+ recovery laps if needed), covering a total distance of 91.862 km.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Vamos!
