Chandler Smith can put any doubt to bed now. Smith will race full-time in 2025. He will return to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/11\/08\/2024-nascar-truck-series-championship-preview-and-predictons\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series<\/a>. In doing so he will become teammates with reigning series Rookie of the Year, Layne Riggs.<\/p>\n<h2>Chandler Smith Lands Truck Series Ride Despite Questions About Racing Future<\/h2>\n<p>Smith will team up with one of the better truck series teams at <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2024\/12\/19\/23xi-front-row-win-preliminary-injunction-will-race-chartered-in-2025\/\" target=\"_self\">Front Row Motorsports<\/a> as they will become a two-team operation in 2025.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We are excited to welcome <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CSmith_Racing?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@CSmith_Racing<\/a> to Front Row Motorsports, and expand our <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NASCAR_Trucks?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@NASCAR_Trucks<\/a> program to 2 trucks. <a  href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/hdilazksS1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/hdilazksS1<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Front Row Motorsports (@Team_FRM) <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Team_FRM\/status\/1870228288871805147?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 20, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>After an up-and-down couple of seasons in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, a return to the trucks looks like the right move for the 22-year-old. A five-time winner at that level will look to help build on the team&#8217;s momentum.<\/p>\n<p>The organization made the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamfrm.com\/post\/chandler-smith-joins-front-row-motorsports-truck-program-in-2025\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news official via a press release<\/a>. In the release, Smith spoke highly about the team, and how excited he is to help chase after a championship in 2025.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8221; I&#8217;m excited to join Front Row Motorsports truck program,&#8221; Smith said. &#8220;They are a top contender in the Truck Series and have proven so with championships and wins. I like what they are building here and am honored to have the opportunity to add to it. We are getting a bit of a late start, but I am excited about the caliber of talent we are talking to in being part of this program for 2025.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>He&#8217;s a proven winner, Just Has Had Bad Luck<\/h3>\n<p>Smith is a multi-time truck series race winner and a multi-time Xfinity Series winner. It&#8217;s just a shame that he&#8217;s kind of been passed over by other talented drivers. No matter which team he has been a part of, he&#8217;s lost his ride rather quickly.\u00a0 This will be the third different team and manufacturer for Smith in the last three years.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been a tough road, and he&#8217;s had plenty of trials and tribulations thus far. This feels like a good move to get back on the right track. As for the number and sponsorship for his new ride, those will be announced at a later date the team said.
