But if you are Alexander Rossi, you&#8217;re enjoying Road America so far.<\/h3>\r\n<p>A red flag-filled practice saw <strong>Alexander Rossi<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2023\/06\/17\/indycar-rossi-flexes-some-mclaren-muscle-at-road-america\/\" target=\"_self\">flex more of that McLaren muscle<\/a> at <strong>Road America<\/strong>, placing himself on the top of the leaderboard.<\/p>\r\n<p>Rossi, who claimed the pole at Road America one year ago, topped the leaderboard with a lap of 1:41.7790, followed that up during Saturday&#8217;s second practice session with a lap of 1:40.9112, improving by .8678 seconds.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>While it was clear and smoothing sailing for Rossi, the same can&#8217;t be said for two series main stays.\u00a018 minutes into practice, six-time series champion <strong>Scott Dixon<\/strong>\u00a0spun into Turn 12. As he straightened himself out,\u00a0<strong>Romain Grosjean<\/strong>\u00a0in the No. 28 Honda passed Dixon. P3 was claimed by another Arrow McLaren driver, <strong>Felix Rosenqvist<\/strong>\u00a0at 1:41.2572.
