It has been a whirlwind 72 for Stefan Wilson<\/strong> and the whole team over at Dryer & Reinbold Racing\/Cusick Motorsports.<\/h3>\n

In a scary incident that occurred Monday during one of the final practices for Sunday’s\u00a0Indianapolis 500 involving Stefan Wilson, it has been announced that he will not be allowed to compete this Sunday.<\/p>\n

During Monday’s practice session, fellow Brit & Rahal Letterman Lanigan driver Katherine Legge<\/strong>\u00a0made contact with Wilson and his No. 24 Chevrolet in Turn 1, which sent both cars into the outside wall. Legge’s car bounced off the barrier as it continued down to the track and made contact with another barrier in Turn 2<\/p>\n

Legg was able to climb out of her car without assistance and was evaluated and released from the IU Health Emergency Medical Center, while Wilson, who was conscious and alert, was transported by ambulance to the IU Health Methodist Hospital for further testing.<\/p>\n
