Monte Carlo has hosted Formula E five times, with Sebastien Buemi as the only double winner of the E-Prix, having achieved the top step on the podium in both 2015 and 2017. A third win would lift him back into contention for the championship this season. The results of the ninth race of the year could decide the direction of the championship, with the Porsche needing to bounce back and the rest of the grid ready to chase them.

Who’s ready to hit the iconic streets of Monte Carlo? 🇲🇨

IT’S RACE WEEK 🤩#MonacoEPrix pic.twitter.com/FZxdWR4tX7

— Formula E (@FIAFormulaE) May 1, 2023

The Circuit – Monaco E-Prix

The track features 19 turns and is 3.337 kilometers long. Nick Cassidy, with 96 points, is ready to take the lead in the standing at the end of the weekend if the wind doesn’t change for Wehrlein.

Pascal Wehrlein –100 points

Nick Cassidy – 96

Jean-Eric Vergne – 81

Jake Dennis – 80

Mitch Evans – 76

Teams’ Championship

The incredible comeback of Envision isn’t limited to the Drivers’ Championship, with the team closing in on Porsche for first in the standings. However, both Mitch Evans and Antonio Felix Da Costa are likely to put up a tough challenge this weekend. And don’t count out last year’s winner Stoffel Vandoorne. The E-Prix results will probably depend on the qualifying order, just like every other race held in Monte Carlo.

Nick Cassidy

Mitch Evans

Antonio Felix Da Costa

How to Watch the Monaco E-Prix (EDT)

Free Practice 1: Saturday 5/06 – 1:25 am on CBS Sports HQ, Formula E’s YouTube Channel, Formula E’s Website, or the Formula E App.

Free Practice 2: Saturday 5/06 – 3:05 am on CBS Sports HQ, Formula E’s YouTube Channel, Formula E’s Website, or the Formula E App.

Qualifying: Saturday 5/06 – 4:30 am on CBSSports.com.

Race: Saturday 5/06 – 8:30 am on CBS.

How to Watch the Monaco E-Prix (EST) – TVA, TSN

Qualifying: Saturday 5/06 – 4:30 am on TSN+ and TVA Sports.

Race: Saturday 5/06 – 8:30 am on TSN and TVA Sports.

Featured Image Credit: Sam Bagnall / LAT Images

After the chaotic double header in Berlin, Formula E is ready for the Monaco E-Prix, ‘the race that every driver wants to win’.
