Day 1 star Theo Pourchaire found himself far off the top times as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/11\/21\/2023-formula-2-driver-lineup-frederick-vesti-to-prema\/\" target=\"_self\">Frederik Vesti<\/a> and Richard Verschoor took the honors on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h3>Morning Session (AM)<\/h3>\n<p>Drivers began focusing on race runs during the morning since track conditions will be similar to the Feature Race in Bahrain. PREMA&#8217;s Vesti set the fastest time right at the start. Setting himself as a title contender by going two seconds faster than Ralph Boschung in second place. Trident&#8217;s Roman Stanek caused a red flag when he stopped at Turn 6 with an hour and a half remaining. The second was caused by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tridentmotorsport.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Trident<\/a> driver Clement Novalak with nine minutes remaining. 2022 Formula 3 champion Victor Martins found himself shy of Verschoor by just 0.008 seconds.
