Event:<\/strong> #LetsRaceTwo The Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series<\/strong> travels to Eldora Speedway<\/strong> this week for the annual #LetsRaceTwo weekend doubleheader.<\/p>\n The event features two main events over the pair of days that contribute to the World of Outlaws standings at the end of the season.<\/p>\n Last season at Eldora, Kerry Madsen<\/strong>, swept the weekend, becoming the second-straight driver to accomplish the feat.<\/p>\n \u201cAt Eldora, when the track widens out and it\u2019s against the wall, there\u2019s other lines and slide jobs, there\u2019s nothing better to watch<\/em>,\u201d Madsen said. \u201cIt was the first track that really got me hooked on Sprint Car racing<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n The two wins were Madsen\u2019s lone wins of the 2016 World of Outlaws season.<\/p>\n \u201c[Eldora is] pretty awe-inspiring and it definitely gets your blood flowing as you roll in<\/em>,\u201d Madsen said. \u201cThen you get in there and you look at the banking and the size of it and it gets your attention. It never disappoints<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Madsen will not be racing at Eldora this weekend, instead racing at Jackson Motorplex<\/strong> on Friday and Knoxville Raceway<\/strong> on Saturday.<\/p>\n However, there is another driver that has swept the weekend in the past two seasons: none other than Donny Schatz.<\/strong><\/p>\n While Schatz had been on a cold streak, at least for his standards, it seems that he has found his speed again.<\/p>\n He earned two-straight wins at the Missouri State Fair and 81 Speedways last weekend.<\/p>\n \u201cWe just had the car rolling and are trying a lot of funky things right now and there are a lot of weird pieces on this race car, but we are learning<\/em>,\u201d Schatz said. \u201cSometimes you pay the price and April was that time, so May is going a lot better<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n Madsen, Schatz, and others will take to the Eldora dirt on Friday trying to make their May just a little bit better.<\/p>\n Race Info Event: #LetsRaceTwo Dates: May 12 and May 13 Track: Eldora Speedway Location: Rossburg, OH Opening Ceremonies start: 7:30 p.m. ET With Madsen out, Schatz the favorite at Eldora\u2019s #LetsRaceTwo The Craftsman World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series travels to Eldora Speedway this week for the annual #LetsRaceTwo weekend doubleheader.
