Colapinto made his debut in 2022 for Vans Amersfoort Racing but has decided to switch teams to try and claim the title. He&#8217;ll partner with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/12\/25\/jonny-edgar-the-story-of-perseverance\/\" target=\"_self\">Jonny Edgar<\/a> and Mari Boya for the upcoming campaign. Colapinto is the 17th driver to be announced overall.<\/p>\n<h3>The 2022 Season<\/h3>\n<p>After finishing third in the 2021 Asian Le Mans Series, Colapinto joined Formula 3 with Vans Amersfoort Racing. Partnered alongside Reece Ushijima and Rafael Villagomez, the Argentinian dominated his teammates and finished ninth in the standings despite finishing outside the points on eight occasions. I\u2019m eager to resume the run of success that we have had and fully intend to expand on it.
