Using statistical analysis, let&#8217;s determine how they rank.<\/h3>\n<p>The FIA Formula 3 Championship was created in 2019 following a merger between the GP3 Championship and the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Since its inception, there have been four champions, most recently <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/15\/formula-3-champion-who-is-victor-martins\/\" target=\"_self\">Victor Martins<\/a>. Let&#8217;s analyze the champions.<\/p>\n<h3>1. (2019) Robert Shwartzman &#8211; PREMA Racing<\/h3>\n<p>Robert Shwartzman became the first driver to win the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2019. After taking two wins, six podiums, and a 55.2% point-scoring finish, Shwartzman won by 54 points over teammate Marcus Armstrong.<\/p>\n<p>Following his title-winning season, Shwartzman joined the FIA Formula 2 Championship (again with <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/11\/07\/prema-the-mercedes-of-the-f1-feeder-series\/\" target=\"_self\">PREMA<\/a>) and would finish the season in fourth. In 2022, he joined Scuderia Ferrari as a test driver.<\/p>\n<h3>2. (2021) Dennis Hauger &#8211; PREMA Racing<\/h3>\n<p>2021 saw Dennis Hauger become the youngest championship winner at 18. Partnered alongside Ollie Caldwell and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/11\/21\/2023-formula-2-driver-lineup-arthur-leclerc-to-dams\/\" target=\"_self\">Arthur Leclerc<\/a>, the two struggled drastically finishing eighth and tenth in the championship. Hauger would achieve a 46.8% point-scoring finish taking four wins and nine podiums to win by 26 points over Jack Doohan.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Hauger moved to Formula 2 and finished ninth due to a string of bad luck incidents and mechanical failures with PREMA. (2022) Victor Martins &#8211; ART Grand Prix<\/h3>\n<p>During the 2022 season, Victor Martins was locked in an intense championship battle against Leclerc and Isack Hadjar. Entering the finale in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.monzanet.it\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Monza<\/a>, Martins was involved in a seven-way title battle and would win the season by just five points over Zane Maloney.<\/p>\n<p>After taking two wins and six podiums, Martins would end up with a 39.6% point-scoring finish. In November 2022, Martins participated in the Formula 2 post-season test for ART alongside Theo Pourchaire.<\/p>\n<h3>4. (2020) Oscar Piastri &#8211; PREMA Racing<\/h3>\n<p>Similarly to Martins, Oscar Piastri would be locked into a three-way championship battle with Pourchaire and Logan Sargeant.
