This will be Edgar&#8217;s third season and team during his time in Formula 3. Edgar raced for Trident during the 2022 Formula 3 season and has decided to make a switch for next year. He is the 15th F3 driver to be announced.<\/p>\n<h3>Edgar&#8217;s history<\/h3>\n<p>Born in Whitehaven, UK, Edgar began his single-seater career in 2019 competing in the Italian Formula 4 Championship. Finishing tenth in the standings he then moved on to the ADAC Formula 4 Championship, winning the title with six wins and five further podiums.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, Edgar made his Formula 3 debut with Carlin Racing finishing 18th in the standings. At the beginning of the 2022 season, Edgar moved to Trident and was considered a title contender. However, he soon revealed that he had been diagnosed with Crohn&#8217;s disease during the winter and would be unable to complete the full season as he focused on his health. So now I\u2019m relishing the thought of a fresh attack on FIA F3, as it feels like unfinished business to me.
