He\u2019ll be racing for Campos Racing for the 2023 Formula 2 season.<\/h3>\n<p>Formula 3 rookie <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/10\/20\/f3-kush-maini-indias-next-superstar\/\" target=\"_self\">Kush Maini<\/a> is joining a list of several Formula 3 drivers who are graduating to Formula 2 for the 2023 season. He is the third driver to graduate and the seventh to overall be confirmed. Maini will be racing alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/11\/15\/2023-formula-2-driver-lineup-ralph-boschung-stays-at-campos-racing\/\" target=\"_self\">Ralph Boschung<\/a> next season.<\/p>\n<h3>Maini&#8217;s 2022 Campaign<\/h3>\n<p>After struggling to secure a full-time racing seat for the 2021 season, instead opting for the F3 Asian Championship. Maini\u2019s luck changed when he was able to secure a seat with MP Motorsport for the 2022 Formula 3 Championship. Racing alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/19\/f3-franco-colapinto-the-underrated-rookie-of-the-2022-season\/\" target=\"_self\">Franco Colapinto<\/a> and Alexander Smolyer, Maini finished the championship in fourteenth &#8211; behind both his teammates &#8211; after taking one podium.<\/p>\n<p>Maini\u2019s season was riddled with both mechanical and driving errors. However, Maini has admitted to his mistakes and put them down to \u2018being rusty\u2019.
