Saucy finished the 2022 season 15th in the championship with one podium.<\/p>\n<h3>The 2022 F2 Season<\/h3>\n<p>After winning the 2021 Formula Regional European Championship with ART Grand Prix, Saucy participated in their F3\u00a0 post-season test. He was later announced as one of the drivers for the following season alongside <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/15\/formula-3-champion-who-is-victor-martins\/\" target=\"_self\">Victor Martins<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/03\/f3-juan-manuel-correas-emotional-return-to-the-podium\/\" target=\"_self\">Juan Manuel Correa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The opening round in Bahrain was mixed for the Swiss as he retired during the Sprint Race but was able to finish third in the Feature Race. Saucy then endured a painful eight-round pointless streak while his teammates secured big points. He ended the season with only thirty points while Correa scored forty-six and Martins won the championship.<\/p>\n<p>Following the announcement, Saucy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fiaformula3.com\/Latest\/2b5wd4ilQoS6FBhQ7nD0k4\/gregoire-saucy-confirmed-at-art-grand-prix-for-2023-fia-f3-season\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">stated<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI learnt a great deal in the first season of F3 and I will be using that to bring ART Grand Prix a second title, following the one in FRECA back in 2021. The Championship will be long and exciting, with new dates, and one of the keys will be to be consistent right from the onset. ART Grand Prix is a strong car, as evidenced by Martins&#8217; Championship. With Saucy having spent last season learning, is he ready to fight for the title in 2023?<\/p>\n<p>He participated in the 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/19\/f3-testing-2022-post-season-test-line-ups-and-schedule\/\" target=\"_self\">Formula 3 post-season testing<\/a> along with Kaylen Frederick and Nikola Tsolov. With teams using testing as a reference point to choose their drivers, will we be seeing Frederick and Tsolov on the grid next season?
