There are still seven drivers mathematically in contention for the championship. ART driver <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/08\/21\/formula-3-rivals-isack-hadjar-v-victor-martins-who-will-prevail\/\" target=\"_self\">Victor Martins<\/a> is hoping for a smooth weekend in Monza as he narrowly holds a five-point lead over rookie Hitech driver Isack Hadjar. The current lap record is 1:38.834 which was set by <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/05\/indycar-3-takeaways-from-portland\/\" target=\"_self\">Christian Lungaard<\/a> in 2019. However, seeing as the cars have progressed throughout the years, it&#8217;s likely that the record will be broken this year.<\/p>\n<p>With a long run into Turn 1 and 2 DRS zones, overtaking will be possible.
