With six races left in the calendar, he has a great chance to match the F1 record of 13 victories in a single season. Both <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/tag\/michael-schumacher\/\" target=\"_self\">Michael Schumacher<\/a> in 2004 and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/tag\/sebastian-vettel\/\" target=\"_self\">Sebastian Vettel<\/a> in 2013 have managed that feat.<\/p>\n<p>But with his win at the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/2022\/09\/05\/f1-5-takeaways-from-dutch-grand-prix\/\" target=\"_self\">Dutch Grand Prix<\/a>, Verstappen has <strong>four consecutive wins <\/strong>for the first time in his career (France 2022 &#8211; Netherlands 2022). He now sits an incredible 109 points ahead of Ferrari&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/tag\/charles-leclerc\/\" target=\"_self\">Charles Leclerc<\/a>, and his teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/motorsports\/tag\/sergio-perez\/\" target=\"_self\">Sergio Perez<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At this rate, &#8216;unstoppable&#8217; Max will surely smash additional records in the coming months and years. But can he surpass Hamilton&#8217;s record for the most wins in F1 history?
