Keanu Reeves is set to host an F1 docuseries for Disney+ that is expected to air in 2023.<\/h4>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/tv\/news\/keanu-reeves-formula-one-docuseries-disney-1235316739\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a>, Reeves is working on a four-part F1 docuseries for Disney+ that will focus on the current Formula 1 managing director Ross Brawn and his two-time championship-winning team, Brawn GP.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe want to tell that amazing remarkable story [of Brawn GP],\u201d said Reeves to a journalist at the 2022 British Grand Prix. \u201cThere is so much to talk about.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been really great to be able to learn more about what was going on in Formula One that year. It wasn\u2019t just the cars, new regulations, FOTA [the Formula One Teams Association], or breakaway series. I mean there was just so much happening in Formula One at that time. The world of Formula One was just extraordinary. I mean, it\u2019s always extraordinary, but in that year with Brawn GP I think something really special happened.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Reeves is right. The 2009 F1 season saw something truly exceptional that is worthy of a documentary. At the start of that year, Honda sold their F1 team to Ross Brawn for only <strong>one pound<\/strong> to keep it in the sport after withdrawing from the series due to the global financial crisis. Afterward, he renamed the team &#8216;Brawn GP&#8217;, and turned it into a championship-winning team, bringing home both the Constructors&#8217; title and Drivers&#8217; title, by first-time winner British driver Jenson Button.<\/p>\n<p>The Hollywood star has already been conducting interviews for the series.
