Jason Powers<\/a> begins this week’s episode by taking a look back on a mixed bag that Week 2 was.\u00a0 From a USF loss at Alabama that was much closer than the final score indicated, to the Gators evening its record with a victory over Samford, and the Seminoles dealing with a 0-2 record after its loss at home to Boston College, it’s been a crazy week for schools in Florida.\u00a0 He also gets into UCF’s 2-0 start and the upcoming Big XII conference opener they have with TCU and Miami getting ready in a couple of weeks to come to Raymond James Stadium to face the Bulls in what should be a wild affair.<\/p>\n

J.P. Peterson Joins Jason For All Thinks Football In Florida<\/h2>\n

Jason then welcomes in Tampa radio host J.P. Peterson<\/a> to discuss the state of college football in Florida.\u00a0 A Florida State alum, Peterson gets into his trip to Dublin to see his alma mater play Georgia Tech.\u00a0 He also answers if the Seminoles should stick with DJ Uiagaleilei at quarterback, the possibility of a quarterback controversy as well in Gainesville, and how the Bulls could find themselves on the verge of a double-digit win season with Alex Golesh at the helm.<\/p>\n

The guys finish off with a whiparound the NFL landscape in Florida.\u00a0 Jason and J.P. talk the emergence of Bucky Irving in the Buccaneers season-opening win over Washington, as well as whether Trevor Lawrence can take that next step from being a good quarterback to becoming a great quarterback in the league, and the crazy police incident involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill and the bodycam footage that has made the rounds through the media this week.<\/p>\n
