One of the most high-profile debates every year over which player is the best quarterback in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>According to multiple outlets, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tag\/-josh-allen\/\" target=\"_self\">Josh Allen<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/tag\/buffalo-bills\/\" target=\"_self\">Buffalo Bills<\/a> is widely considered to be the best quarterback in the league. He did not understand why the two-time NFL MVP was voted so low by his peers:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;Outside of Patrick Mahomes, there is no more accomplished quarterback in the entire NFL than Lamar Jackson.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Ryan Clark <a  href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/RDQWjZ7fCI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/RDQWjZ7fCI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ravens Nation \ud835\ude47\ud835\ude44\ud835\ude51\ud835\ude40 (@LiveRavenNation) <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LiveRavenNation\/status\/2078595697910108611?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">July 18, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>As one can see, Clark claimed that, outside of Patrick Mahomes, Jackson is the most accomplished quarterback in the NFL.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, winning two league MVP Awards is a case for being among the most decorated players in the NFL. However, to say that he is second only behind Mahomes in this area is not a factual statement.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Rodgers, who has won four MVP Awards, a Super Bowl, and a Super Bowl MVP Award is still playing, and therefore ranks higher than Jackson when it comes to career accolades.<\/p>\n<p>And NFL fans were quick to remind Clark of this fact. On <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RadMan_BIB\/status\/2078859752424055113\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">X user posted<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Did we all literally forget Aaron Rodgers? Is this entire app intentionally dense or did we all just collectively decide to forget the:<\/p>\n<p>First Ballot HOF<br \/>\n4x League MVP<br \/>\nSuper Bowl Champion<br \/>\nSBMVP<br \/>\n4x First Team AP<br \/>\n1x Second Team AP<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>TJ Lang, Rodgers&#8217; former teammate on the Green Bay Packers, <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TJLang70\/status\/2078920448520155604\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">responded<\/a> with &#8220;Huh?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Former NFL lineman <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/geoffschwartz\/status\/2078917378205753759\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geoff Schwartz posted<\/a>, &#8220;In his peer group it\u2019s worth a discussion. However Rodgers has 3 MVPs, a SB and SB MVP. He\u2019s more accomplished than anyone who\u2019s not Mahomes.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Schwartz, of course, miscounted the number of MVP&#8217;s Rodgers has won.<\/p>\n<p>One can argue (and probably correctly) that Jackson is better than Rodgers is right now in this moment in time.
