While the exact nature of the charges was not made public at the time, his July 4 arrest did stem from something related to domestic violence. This latest arrest was just another chapter in what has been a disturbing year for the former NFL Pro Bowler.<\/p>\n<p>Back in April, Wiley was accused by multiple women of sexual assault. The former NFL star had been arrested in Florida a couple of days prior.<\/p>\n<p>In the divorce filing, Wiley is accused of multiple disturbing acts of domestic violence, including this timeline of events put together by\u00a0<a  href=\"https:\/\/blacksportsonline.com\/2026\/07\/marcellus-wileys-wife-annermarie-says-he-rape-her-and-hit-her-with-coke-bottle\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Black Sports Online<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"auto\">\n<li><strong>2012<\/strong>: Early in their relationship, Marcellus Wiley raped her while intoxicated and attempted to sleep with two of her friends.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2014<\/strong>: He punched her in the face, causing a black eye.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2019<\/strong>: While she was nine months pregnant, he threw a bottle of Coca-Cola at her head.<\/li>\n<li><strong>August 2025<\/strong>: He struck her in the face with his shoes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>January 2026<\/strong>: He dragged her out of bed, berated her and hit her on the head. She alleged he then raped her while telling her she was \u201chis property\u201d and that she \u201chad to do what he said.\u201d She claimed he raped her a second time that same day and again two days later.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>She also claims that Wiley borrowed $100,000 from her that he never repaid, and also ran up her credit card with $100,000 in charges.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Wiley has posted the following message <a  href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/marcelluswiley\/status\/2074202046698299643?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2074202046698299643%7Ctwgr%5Eac5e7ada087e0f8cde5b2a665dadd096bb2cb502%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fblacksportsonline.com%2F2026%2F07%2Fmarcellus-wileys-wife-annermarie-says-he-rape-her-and-hit-her-with-coke-bottle%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on social media<\/a>: &#8220;<span>I completely and unequivocally deny these allegations, and I\u2019m certain the truth will prevail. As you know, I\u2019m usually the first to break down the truth and separate facts from fiction. But because this is now a legal matter\u2014and because my greatest responsibility is protecting my babies, who have already been impacted\u2014I have to handle this differently.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>For now, the truth is left up to the courts to decide.
