{"id":2403,"date":"2026-03-17T00:09:53","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T00:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/media\/?p=2403"},"modified":"2026-03-17T00:09:53","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T00:09:53","slug":"top-fox-broadcaster-reuniting-with-former-partner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/media\/sports-media\/top-fox-broadcaster-reuniting-with-former-partner\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Fox Broadcaster Reuniting With Former Partner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a couple of years since we&#8217;ve seen Fox Sports top NFL play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt call a game with anyone other than Tom Brady.\u00a0 But now, Burkhardt will be reunited with former partner Greg Olson to call the Fanatics Flag Football Classic for the network.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This weekend, some of the world&#8217;s most elite athletes are set for the first-ever <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Fanatics?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@Fanatics<\/a> Flag Football Classic.<\/p>\n<p>And in the booth, <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FOXSports?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">@FOXSports<\/a> taps Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen to deliver all of the on-field action.<\/p>\n<p>Coverage begins Saturday, March 21 at 4:00 PM ET on FOX, FOX\u2026 <a  href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FBye2dsxap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/FBye2dsxap<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 FOX Sports PR (@FOXSportsPR) <a  href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FOXSportsPR\/status\/2033638688085975421?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March 16, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Burkhardt and Olsen worked together for two years as the top pairing for Fox&#8217;s NFL broadcasts, including the network&#8217;s broadcast of Super Bowl LVII in 2023, but were split up when the network hired Brady to be their top NFL color analyst.\u00a0 Olsen was paired with Joe Davis as the #2 team for the network.<\/p>\n<p>According <a  href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/stories\/presspass\/kevin-burkhardt-greg-olsen-call-inaugural-fanatics-flag-football-classic\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">to the release<\/a> from Fox, this flag football event will feature three 12-person teams: two containing former current and former NFL stars and other athletes, and the third being the U.S. Men&#8217;s National Team.\u00a0 Brady and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will captain one team, while Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow will captain the second.<\/p>\n<p>Originally scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the game venue was switched to BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, where flag football will be held during the 2028 Olympic Games, due to the conflict currently ongoing with Iran.\u00a0 The game will take place March 31 at 4:00 pm Eastern, airing on Fox, the Fox One streaming service, and Tubi.\u00a0 Internationally, it can also be seen on Fanatics&#8217; YouTube channel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a couple of years since we&#8217;ve seen Fox Sports top NFL play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt call a game with anyone other than Tom Brady.\u00a0 But now, Burkhardt will be reunited with former partner Greg Olson to call the Fanatics Flag Football Classic for the network.
