More than a month after being arrested on assault charges following a late-night brawl, former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has officially been fired as an NFL commentator by Fox Sports.<\/p>\n
TMZ<\/a> was the first to report that Sanchez had been fired, with a spokespoerson for the network telling them “We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network. There will be no further comment at this time.”<\/p>\n Sanchez was arrested October 4 in Indianapolis, after getting into a fight with a truck driver.\u00a0 The driver ended up stabbing Sanchez in the torso, requiring him to be hospitalized.\u00a0 The broadcaster was in town preparing to broadcasting that Sunday’s game between the Colts and the Las Vegas Raiders for Fox Sports.<\/p>\n Sanchez was charged with felony battery and several misdemeaors, spending over a week in the hospital and eventually being booked into the Marion County Jail before being released<\/a>.<\/p>\n #EXCLUSIVE<\/a>: Former NFL Quarterback and FOX Analyst Mark Sanchez is out of the hospital and was booked into the Marion County Jail this morning.
