It is the same name as the show he hosted previously on ESPN Radio until 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Russillo\u2019s new show with Barstool Sports will debut on November 3. Previously, Russillo hosted <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ryen Russillo Podcast<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for The Ringer. In a video posted to his X account, Russillo stated that Spotify (the parent company who owns The Ringer) would not allow him to take his IP over to Barstool Sports for his new show. Ceruti previously worked on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bill Simmons Podcast <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and was a co-host of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ringer Soccer Show<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. He was also The Ringer\u2019s senior podcast manager. Crichton, also previously produced <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bill Simmons Podcast<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and is the nephew of Bill Simmons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After leaving ESPN, Russillo spent six years at The Ringer, which was his first role since leaving the worldwide leader. Russillo was very gracious when he recently discussed his exit from The Ringer and Spotify.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Russillo&#8217;s next chapter<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cLeaving ESPN and feeling like you\u2019re kind of starting over and wondering, \u2018hey am I ever going to be one of those guys? Am I ever going to be like one of those guys? Am I going to be somebody who\u2019s got enough juice to like figure out a way to carve out?&#8217;\u201d Russillo said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He added, \u201cI would look at the people I was friends with. I would look at the people that were older than me \u2014 now I feel like I\u2019m older than people \u2014 but that was definitely a time where I was just ready for a change. And it feels kind of cool now because I feel the exact same way. So thank you to the audience because, again, none of this happens without you responding, whether it was stuff at ESPN and and then cranking it up to another level here with Spotify and Ringer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>What to expect from Russillo&#8217;s new show<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Russillo\u2019s new podcast feed describes the show as, \u201cSame Russillo, just with a fresh coat of paint. You\u2019ll still get the sports talk, the random stories, and the guests you already love plus some new ones too.
