The National Hockey League fines the Washington Capitals<\/a> $100,000 for breaking COVID-19 protocols. The team has also placed Alex Ovechkin<\/a><\/strong>, Evgeny Kuznetsov<\/a><\/strong>, and others on the COVID-absence list.<\/p>\n

Washington Capitals Fined For Breaking Covid-19 Rules<\/h2>\n

The Capitals have become the first team to be fined for disobeying the league’s COVID-19 protocols. While there are not many specifics yet, we know that this is because of a situation involving social interaction. This was among guys on the team because they weren’t wearing masks or face coverings of any kind.<\/p>\n

On top of that, according to Elliotte Friedman, the Capitals have added Evgeny Kuznetsov, Dmitry Orlov<\/a>, <\/strong>Ovechkin, <\/strong>and\u00a0Ilya Samsonov<\/a> <\/strong>to their COVID-related absence list.<\/p>\n
