Puck Talk Live Podcast: Episode 53 – West Division Predictions<\/h2>\n

On episode 53 of the podcast, the boys discuss their West Division predictions. The San Jose Sharks<\/a> and Anaheim Ducks<\/a> are at the bottom of the division. While the Sharks have the potential to be a dangerous team, they are plagued by injuries and poor goaltending. The Ducks are unproven and while John Gibson<\/a><\/strong> is fantastic, he won’t be able to carry them to a playoff spot. The Minnesota Wild<\/a> and Los Angeles Kings<\/a> are in a weird spot where they could have a lottery season, or make the playoffs. Both are young teams who are riding on prospects to help them claim a playoff spot.<\/p>\n

The Colorado Avalanche<\/a> and Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> are the two clear top teams in the division. The boys do a comparison of offence, defence, and goaltending. The Golden Knights have a massive advantage in the goaltending department, and the trio agrees that the Avalanche need an elite goaltender to have a shot at winning the Stanley Cup. While the Avalanche’s offence is more explosive, the Knights’ offence is more steady and physical. Two different styles that will show themselves throughout the season. Who are Logan, Raffi, and Noah? Put simply, they are three high school friends who bonded over their strong love for hockey, and decided to share their thoughts with the world via podcast.
