Here\u2019s our look at this date in hockey history for November 19th, featuring Jaromir Jagr.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Also Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2020\/11\/18\/today-in-hockey-history-penguins-mark-recchi-gets-six-points\/\" target=\"_self\">November 18<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2020\/11\/20\/today-in-hockey-history-maple-leafs-dave-keon-plays-1000th-game\/\" target=\"_self\">November 20<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Today in Hockey History: November 19<\/h2>\n<h3>Jaromir Jagr Scores 600th Goal<\/h3>\n<p><strong>2006:<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/rangers\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Rangers<\/a> forward gets the milestone goal in a 4-1 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/lightning\/\" target=\"_self\">Tampa Bay Lightning<\/a>. He doesn&#8217;t waste any time getting 600 as he scores 1:43 into the game. His shot beats Tampa Bay goalie <span id=\"token-D20C2735F0BE293ABBE97\" class=\"token token-hyperLink\">Johan Holmqvist to get number 600.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/O5AsBX54uxg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>He finished his NHL career with 766 goals and 1,155 points. However, he was still going strong with the HC Kladno of the Czech Extraliga. Jagr scored 15 goals in the 2019-20 season for the team he owns.<\/p>\n<h3>Other Notable Events<\/h3>\n<p><strong>1929:<\/strong> Defencemen ruled the day as two defenders scored four goals each for the only time in league history. <span id=\"token-569CC144AE85ADCD9ED94\" class=\"token token-hyperLink\">John McKinnon<\/span> of the Pittsburgh Pirates scores four times in a 10-5 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/leafs\/\" target=\"_self\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>. Hap Day scores four of his seven goals for the season for the Leafs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1932:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/senators\/\" target=\"_self\">Ottawa Senators<\/a> goalie Alec Connell is the first to 70 career shutouts. He reaches the mark in a 2-0 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/redwings\/\" target=\"_self\">Detroit Red Wings.<\/a> The 1958 Hockey Hall of Famer finishes with 81 career shutouts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1983:<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/oilers\/\" target=\"_self\">Edmonton Oilers<\/a> roll thanks the eight points from Wayne Gretzky and five goals from Jari Kurri. <span id=\"token-8287F50C7E1ABD56F9E87\" class=\"token token-hyperLink\">Willy Lindstrom adds three goals in a 13-4 drubbing of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/devils\/\" target=\"_self\">New Jersey Devils<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Referee Bruce Hood is the first officiate 1,000 career games. Hood oversees a 5-4 Toronto victory over Detroit in his final season in the league.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1984:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/kings\/\" target=\"_self\">Los Angeles Kings<\/a> great Marcel Dionne gets his 28th and final hat trick of his career. He leads Los Angeles to a 5-4 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/flames\/\" target=\"_self\">Calgary Flames<\/a> en route to 1,400 career points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1991:<\/strong> Mark Messier gets his first hat trick as a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/rangers\/\" target=\"_self\">New York Rangers.<\/a> The last goal gives him 400 for his career in a 4-3 win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/canucks\/\" target=\"_self\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1997:<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/category\/penguins\/\" target=\"_self\">Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2020\/10\/11\/today-in-hockey-history-mario-lemieux-scores-on-first-pittsburgh-penguins-shift\/\" target=\"_self\">retire the No. 66 sweater<\/a> of Mario Lemieux.
