But the NHL is removing at least one layer of speculation. According to Jason Gregor, the league has announced the days that they will be announcing the 2020 NHL Awards finalists.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">1\/2 The NHL will release player awards finalists on these days.<br \/>\nJuly 14: Ted Lindsay Award<br \/>\nJuly 15: Jack Adams Award, Calder Trophy<br \/>\nJuly 16: Lady Byng Trophy, Masterton Trophy<br \/>\nJuly 17: Willie O&#8217;Ree Award, Vezina Trophy<br \/>\nJuly 20: Norris Trophy, Selke Trophy<br \/>\nJuly 21: Hart Trophy<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jason Gregor (@JasonGregor) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JasonGregor\/status\/1281671615697182720?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">July 10, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2>NHL 2020 Awards Finalists Announcement Dates<\/h2>\n<p>The finalists will be announced throughout July. There are a few awards not mentioned in this list, though. The King Clancy Memorial Trophy, given to the player who bests exemplifies leadership and community contribution, does not have a finalized list yet. The finalists for the Jim Gregory GM of the Year Award will be determined after the playoff&#8217;s second round. And the Mark Messier Leadership Award will simply have its winner announced. Gregory notes that winners will be announced tentatively during the league&#8217;s Conference Finals.<\/p>\n<p>These dates add on to the already busy schedule of the NHL. With the official <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/2020\/07\/06\/nhl-and-nhlpa-ratify-new-cba\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">approval of the league&#8217;s new CBA<\/a> comes a list of dates that move forward the league&#8217;s Return to Play plan.
