Bobby Orr<\/a> Records Classic Goal<\/h3>\n

1970:<\/strong> The Boston Bruins<\/a> defenceman scores 40 seconds into overtime to win the Stanley Cup. Orr scores from a pass by Derek Sanderson<\/a><\/strong> and beats St. Louis Blues<\/a> goalie Glenn Hall<\/a><\/strong>. Blues defenceman Noel Picard<\/a><\/strong> trips Orr, which sends him flying and creates one of the most iconic photos in sports.<\/p>\n

Orr would win the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP after getting nine goals and 20 points. He would win another Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe in 1972. He’d be the first two-time winner of the post-season MVP since it came to be in 1965.<\/p>\n
