He left the game for further evaluation and did not return.<\/p>\n<h2>Dallas Stars Antoine Roussel Out 6-8 Weeks with Hand Injury<\/h2>\n<p>Dallas fell to the New York Islanders 5-4 after allowing four consecutive goals, blowing a promising 3-1 lead. The Stars season record fell to 25-29-10 with a loss last night.<\/p>\n<p>Stars head coach <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/ruffli01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lindy Ruff<\/a><\/strong> portrayed his disappointment<a href=\"http:\/\/sportsday.dallasnews.com\/dallas-stars\/stars\/2017\/03\/02\/hits-keep-coming-stars-asantoine-roussel-lost-season\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> in a post-game interview<\/a>. &#8220;It&#8217;s not good news. I don&#8217;t have a time frame but it&#8217;s going to be a while; in all likelihood the rest of the year. That hurt us.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Antoine Roussel has recorded 27 points in 60 games this season, tallying 12 goals and 15 assists. He has been a part of many positive and negative performances this season, resulting in a below .500% record and measly point production. Sharp and Roussel played with <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/seguity01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyler Seguin<\/a><\/strong> on the Stars second line. A struggling Dallas roster has been left in patches, in addition to losing <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eavespa01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Patrick Eaves<\/a><\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/2017\/02\/24\/patrick-eaves\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in a trade<\/a> to the Anaheim Ducks.<\/p>\n<p>After forfeiting Antoine Roussel for the remainder of the season, the Stars called up <strong>Remi Elie<\/strong> from their AHL Texas affiliate. Elie has been assigned to the club as a reinforcement option.
