This is the point in the season where teams are looking to solidify their rosters for the upcoming playoff push. Things are no different for P.A Parenteau. Parenteau is a solid veteran who has contributed positively for every roster he has been a part of. Parenteau is journeyman who\u2019s played for seven teams in the nine years he\u2019s been in the league; however he is a good short-term option for the Predators.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NJ trades Parenteau to NSH for 6th round pick, pending trade call.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Bob McKenzie (@TSNBobMcKenzie) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TSNBobMcKenzie\/status\/837027128151576577?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">March 1, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>P.A Parenteau will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and currently has a cap-hit of $1.25 million.<\/p>\n<p>He was a good player for the New Jersey Devils in 2016 before being traded to the Predators. In 59 games he has 13\u00a0goals and 14\u00a0assists for a total of 27\u00a0points on the season. With roughly NUMBER games left in the season, However, Parenteau has been a bright spot for New Jersey due to his offensive production and even though Parenteau moves around the league a lot,\u00a0he can play well with any line.<\/p>\n<p>Parenteau will likely play on the second or third line for the Predators.
