The featured game for is the matchup between the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/panthers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Florida Panthers<\/a> vs the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/maple-leafs\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>NHL Predictions<\/h2>\n<h3>Dallas Stars vs New York Rangers<\/h3>\n<h4>Head-to-Head: Stars 0 &#8211; 0 Rangers<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/stars\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dallas Stars<\/a> have lost three of their last five but did beat the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/devils\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Jersey Devils<\/a> 3-2 on Saturday night.<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/paveljo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joe Pavelski<\/a> <\/strong>got the overtime-winner for the Stars and<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bishobe01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ben Bishop<\/a> <\/strong>stopped 29 saves. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/radulal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexander Radulov<\/a> <\/strong>leads the team in goals with 15 and Bishop is the top goalie with an 18-11-3 mark, 2.31 goals-against-average and .925 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The Stars offence is a weak point with 2.59 goals scored a game, but their defence is solid with 2.49 goals-allowed. Dallas&#8217; power play scores at 18.5 percent and they kill 83.3 percent of power plays.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/rangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Rangers<\/a> are coming off a back-to-back sweep of the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/red-wings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Detroit Red Wings<\/a> on Friday and Saturday.<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lundqhe01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Henrik Lundqvist<\/a> <\/strong>played like his old self with 33 saves in a shutout. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zibanmi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mika Zibanejad<\/a> <\/strong>got the only goal of the game. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/panarar01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Artemi Panarin<\/a><\/strong> leads the team in all offensive categories in goals (27), assists (43) and points (70). The Rangers may go with any one of the three goalies in Lundqvist,<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/georgal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alexandar Georgiev<\/a><\/strong> or <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/shestig01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Igor Shesterkin<\/a><\/strong> in net.<\/p>\n<p>New York scores 3.26 goals a game and yields 3.18 a game. The Rangers power play converts 22.2. percent of the time and the PK is 78.7 percent successful.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams may be missing forwards as<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hintzro01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Roope Hintz<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kreidch01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chris Kreider<\/a> <\/strong>could be out of the lineup. Whoever scores first will have the edge because of the contrast in styles. The Rangers are solid at home and that should get them the edge here.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prediction: Rangers win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs<\/h3>\n<h4>Head-to-Head: Panthers 1 &#8211; 0 Maple Leafs<\/h4>\n<p>Florida laid an 8-4 beating on Toronto on January 12th and the Panthers have been solid as of late. However, they lost 4-0 to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/canadiens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Montreal Canadiens<\/a> on Saturday.<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/barkoal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aleksander Barkov<\/a><\/strong> is day-to-day and could be out. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/dadonev01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Evgenii Dadonov<\/strong><\/a> leads the team in goals with 23 and<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bobrose01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sergei Bobrovsky<\/a><\/strong> is starting to play better as of late with a 19-13-4 record.<\/p>\n<p>The Panthers score 3.60 goals a game and allow 3.28 a game. Florida&#8217;s power play is 23.6 percent successful and they kill 77.7 of opposing power plays.<\/p>\n<p>Toronto has won its last three games, including a 2-1 overtime win against the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/senators\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ottawa Senators<\/a> on Saturday. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/marnemi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mitch Marner<\/a> <\/strong>got the game-winner and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hutchmi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Hutchinson<\/a> won a rare start in net. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/matthau01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Auston Matthews<\/a> <\/strong>leads the club in goals (36) and points (61). <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/a\/anderfr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Frederik Andersen<\/a> <\/strong>is 24-9-6 with a 2.87 goals-against-average and .910 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The Leafs have similar offensive stats with 3,60 goals scored and give up 3.21 a game Toronto&#8217;s PP is 24.6 percent successful and they kill 77.4 of penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Florida is 0-7 in its last seven meetings in Toronto and the home team has won 11 straight in the series. Look for the Leafs to continue that trend.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prediction: Leafs win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Philadelphia Flyers vs Detroit Red Wings<\/h3>\n<h4>Head-to-Head: Flyers 1 &#8211; 0 Red Wings<\/h4>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/flyers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Philadelphia Flyers<\/a> are coming off a 6-3 win over the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/avalanche\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Colorado Avalanche<\/a> on Saturday where <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/f\/farabjo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joel Farabee<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hayeske01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kevin Hayes<\/a> <\/strong>each scored twice. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lyonal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Lyon<\/a><\/strong> made 28 saves in the victory for the Flyers. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/konectr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Travis Konecny<\/a><\/strong> leads the team in goals while Briant Elliott has done well filling in for the injured <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hartca01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Carter<\/strong> <strong>Hart<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia scores 3.12 a game and gives up 2.92 a game. The Flyers power play has a 19.8 percent conversion rate and they stop 80.9 percent of opponent&#8217;s power plays.<\/p>\n<p>Detroit lost back-to-back games to the Rangers to run their losing streak to eight games. The Wings have only gotten one point in those eight games. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bertuty01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tyler Bertuzzi<\/a> <\/strong>leads Detroit in goals with 17 and<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/larkidy01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dylan Larkin<\/a> <\/strong>is tops in points with 37. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bernijo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Jonathan Bernier<\/strong><\/a> is 10-13-2 with a 2.92 goals-against-average and .907 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Wings struggle on offence (2.08 goals scored) and defence (3.83 allowed).
