Today, on Real Hockey Talk we visit Mod Pizza<\/a> in Glendale, AZ. We interviewed general manager, Conrad West about his restaurant and since he’s a big hockey fan favouring the Buffalo Sabres<\/a>, he joined us. He states his satisfaction of the season that Jack Eichel<\/strong><\/a> is having. We also discuss the NHL 2020 All-Star game, and NHL power rankings for this show.<\/p>\n

NHL 2020 All-Star Game Discussion<\/h4>\n

The yearly classic game displaying stars of the game is our main discussion topic. Dave Isaac, Greg Isaac<\/a>, and William Grigsby from lastwordonhockey.com<\/a> along with Conrad West evaluate what may happen in the All-Star game and select our divisional winners and who takes the 3-on-3 tournament. We also predict who we feel will win the MVP award of the game.<\/p>\n

We discuss the unique situation where two brothers, Matthew Tkachuk<\/strong><\/a> (Calgary Flames<\/a>) and Brady Tkachuk<\/strong><\/a> (Ottawa Senators<\/a>) have been elected to play in the NHL 2020 All-Star game. As kids the two brothers got into it, and it seems that the DNA they acquired from their father, Keith Tkachuk<\/strong><\/a> is prevalent. Their middle name is “tough.”<\/p>\n

NHL Power Rankings Discussion<\/h4>\n

We go through the list of the top 16 NHL teams according to nhl.com<\/a>. Which teams are a surprise and which teams will stay on the next list? Many factors can cause a team’s performance to peak or sink. Injuries, trades, winning streaks, losing streaks can all be ingredients causing a team to rise or fall.<\/p>\n

One thing is certain. The standings are as bunched up<\/a> as much as possible and watching your favourite team bounce up and down the standings. Hold on to your seat belts as the final 30 or so games are recorded and don’t forget that the trade deadline is right around the corner. We will be sure to cover all the latest trade news as it comes out on lastwordonhockey.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Real Movie Talk<\/h4>\n

What is becoming a weekly feature, we chat about the latest on movies. William is going to see “The Gentlemen”. We talk about the movies who have a real shot at the Oscar.<\/p>\n
