Myers has missed 39 games for the Jets this season, last playing on November 11th. Depending on how the rest of the season goes, and if Myers needs the full eight weeks to recover, the Jets may just deactivate him for the rest of the season.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding the injury itself, it is safe to say it is something serious considering all of the time he has missed. In a press conference, Jets head coach Paul Maurice said nothing about the extent of the injury or what exactly it was, but it can be speculated to be a knee or perhaps a hip injury.<\/p>\n<p>Myers, 27, has two goals and three assists in a total of eleven games played this season. He has a total of 59 goals and 139 assists in 473 games skated in in his career.
