Ottawa beat the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/rangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Rangers<\/a> 4-1 on Friday, including a goal and an assist from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/duclaan01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anthony Duclair<\/a>.<\/strong> The Senators average 2.83 goals a game and give up 3.04 per contest. Ottawa&#8217;s power play is at the bottom of the league at 10 percent and the penalty kill is tied for 13th a 82.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/pageaje01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jean-Gabriel Pageau<\/a> <\/strong>is the Senators&#8217; leading scorer, with 13 goals and six assists. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/n\/nilssan01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Anders Nilsson<\/a><\/strong> has taken the reins in net with a 7-4-1 record, 2.63 goals-against average and .928 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/blue-jackets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> have won three of their last four but lost 4-3 to the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/jets\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Winnipeg Jets<\/a> on Saturday. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/b\/bjorkol01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oliver Bjorkstrand<\/a> <\/strong>notched two assists in the game for Blue Jackets. Columbus is near the bottom of the league with 2.64 goals a game and gives up 3.27 a contest. The Blue Jackets&#8217; power play is 12th with a 20.3 percent success rate and 20th in the penalty kill with a 79.7% kill rate.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/duboipi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pierre-Luc Dubois<\/a><\/strong> leads in goals (10) and points (17). <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/korpijo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joonas Korpisalo<\/a><\/strong> is the Jackets&#8217; top goalie with a 9-7-1 record, 3.04 GAA and .897 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>Ottawa has a lot of holes on defence but could get <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zaitsni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikita Zaitsev<\/a><\/strong> back. Columbus might be able to take advantage of the thin Senators&#8217; defence.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Columbus wins 3-1.<\/p>\n<h3>Buffalo Sabres vs. Tampa Bay Lightning<\/h3>\n<h3>Head-to-Head: Sabres 0-2 Lightning<\/h3>\n<p>Buffalo started off its Sunshine State wing with a 5-2 win over the<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/panthers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Florida Panthers<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/girgeze01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zemgus Girgensons<\/a><\/strong> scored twice and<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eicheja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jack Eichel<\/a> <\/strong>tallied a goal and two assists. The Sabres scored 2.77 goals a game and give up 2.95 a contest. Buffalo&#8217;s power play is in the top 10 with a 20.8 conversion rate and the penalty kill is 26th at 73.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Eichel leads in all offensive categories such as goals (13), assists (13) and points (26).<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/huttoca01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carter Hutton<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/u\/ullmali01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linus Ullmark<\/a><\/strong> are sharing the time in net, but Hutton should start on due to back-to-back nights.<\/p>\n<p>Tampa Bay swept both games against Buffalo in Stockholm this season and have won two straight. The Lightning <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/2019\/11\/23\/tampa-bay-lightning-steven-stamkos-out-tonight\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">may be without<\/a> <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/stamkst01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Steven Stamkos<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kucheni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nikita Kucherov<\/a><\/strong> due to injury. Tampa tops the league in goals with 3.70 per game and gives up 3.30 per game. The Lightning&#8217;s power play is a deadly 32.8 percent and the penalty kill is 80 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hedmavi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Victor Hedman<\/a><\/strong> leads the team in assists as Stamkos and Kucherov may both be out. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/v\/vasilan02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andrei Vasilevskiy<\/a><\/strong> is 8-6 and has a 2.88 GAA and .908 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>Tampa Bay is missing some firepower, but Buffalo is coming off a game in Sunrise, Fla. The Lightning should keep it going here.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Lightning win 4-3.<\/p>\n<h3>Minnesota Wild vs. New York Rangers<\/h3>\n<h3>Head-to-Head: Wild 0-0 Rangers<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/wild\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Minnesota Wild<\/a> lost 5-4 in overtime to the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/bruins\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boston Bruins<\/a> on Saturday. Minnesota blew a two-goal lead in the third period. The Wild average 2.78 goals a game, but give up 3.35 a contest. Minnesota&#8217;s power play is middle of the pack at 18.8 and their penalty kill is tied for 13th at 82.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/z\/zuckeja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jason Zucker<\/a> <\/strong>leads in goals with eight while <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/staaler01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eric Staal<\/a> <\/strong>leads in points. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/staloal01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alex Stalock<\/a> <\/strong>is taking most of the starts while <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/dubnyde01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Devan Dubnyk<\/a><\/strong> is on injured reserve.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/rangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Rangers<\/a> experienced a wild 6-5 comeback victory over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/canadiens\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Montreal Canadiens<\/a> on Saturday. New York was down 4-1 before rallying thanks to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/l\/lemiebr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brendan Lemieux<\/a>&#8216;s<\/strong> two goals. The Rangers are near the top of the league with 3.38 goals a game, but give up an alarming 3.57 goals a game. New York&#8217;s power-play converts at 20.5 percent and the penalty kill is struggling at 73.5 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/panarar01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Artemi Panarin<\/a><\/strong> has set the team ablaze with 12 goals and 15 assists for the Blueshirts.<\/p>\n<p>New York will want a fast-paced game to take advantage of Stalock and the Wild. Rangers will win if they dictate the pace.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Rangers win 4-3.<\/p>\n<h3>Calgary Flames vs. Pittsburgh Penguins<\/h3>\n<h3>Head-to-Head: Flames 0-0 Penguins<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/flames\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calgary Flames<\/a> got a much-needed win with a 3-2 shootout win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/flyers\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Philadelphia Flyers<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/tkachma01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matthew Tkachuk<\/a> <\/strong>got the shootout-winner for a Flames team struggling to score. Calgary only scores 2.38 goals a game and allows 3.08 a game. The power-play has been bad with a 15.5 percent conversion rate and the penalty kill is 85.6 percent successful.<\/p>\n<p>Tkachuk leads the team in scoring with 10 goals and 10 assists while<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/rittida01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Rittich<\/a> <\/strong>has a 10-7-3 record with a 2.80 GAA and .911 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/penguins\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a> are treading water without <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/crosbsi01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sidney Crosby<\/a> <\/strong>as they beat the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/devils\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Jersey Devils,<\/a> 4-1, on Friday. Pittsburgh scores 3.35 goals a game and surrenders 2.61 a game. The Pens&#8217; power play has been lethargic with a 15.4 conversion rate, but better on the penalty kill at 86.7 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/guentja01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jake Guentzel<\/a> <\/strong>has filled in for Crosby with 11 goals and 20 points. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/murrama02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Murray<\/a><\/strong> is 9-4-4 with 2.60 GAA and .907 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>Pittsburgh should stay on track despite the loss of Crosby with a solid home record.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Penguins win 5-2.<\/p>\n<h3>Vancouver Canucks vs Philadelphia Flyers<\/h3>\n<h3>Head-to-Head: Canucks 1-0 Flyers<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/canucks\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vancouver Canucks<\/a> got a big 2-1 shootout win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/capitals\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Washington Capitals<\/a> on Saturday. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/m\/marksja02.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jacob Markstrom<\/a><\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startribune.com\/super-markstrom-helps-canucks-to-shootout-win-over-capitals\/565381022\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">made 32 saves<\/a> and<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/petteel01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elias Pettersson<\/a><\/strong> scored for Vancouver. The Canucks notch 3.13 goals a game and give up 2.83. Vancouver has one of the better power plays with a 26.7 success rate and kill 83.5 percent of penalties.<\/p>\n<p>Petterson leads the Canucks in goals, assists and points while Markstrom and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/d\/demkoth01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Thatcher Demko<\/a> <\/strong>have formed a solid pairing.<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia has lost four of its last five games and lost to Vancouver 3-2 in a shootout on Oct. 12. The Flyers score 2.91 goals a game and allow 2.87 per game. Philadelphia&#8217;s power play is middle of the pack at 20.0 percent and the penalty kill is at 85.3 percent.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/konectr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Travis Konecny<\/a> <\/strong>leads in assists (15) and points (23) while <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/h\/hartca01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carter Hart<\/a><\/strong> is 6-5-3 with a 2.65 goals-against average and .898 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver is coming off a big win and its offence seems a bit more productive.<\/p>\n<p>Prediction: Canucks win 3-2.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2019\/11\/gettyimages-925650316-594x594.jpg\" alt=\"\">TAMPA, FL &#8211; FEBRUARY 28: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/coburbr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Braydon Coburn<\/a> #55 of the Tampa Bay Lightning and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/girgeze01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zemgus Girgensons<\/a> #28 of the Buffalo Sabres fight for the puck during a game at Amalie Arena on February 28, 2018 in Tampa, Florida.
