The New York Rangers made a lot of improvements in the off-season, bringing in big names like Artemi Panarin<\/a><\/strong>, Jacob Trouba<\/a><\/strong>, and star prospect, Kaapo Kakko<\/a><\/strong>. They have a legitimately bright future ahead of them. They still have more to build upon, but this past off-season gives Rangers fans a reason for optimism in the coming years. For now, they are a middle of the pack team, capable of winning games against even the toughest opponents.

The last 10 games have been highly successful for the Ottawa Senators, with a 7-3-0 record. They hope to add another to the win column when they host the New York Rangers tonight. Jean-Gabriel Pageau<\/a><\/strong> has surprisingly been the driving force of Ottawa\u2019s offence this season. With 17 points in 22 games so far this season, he is on pace to blow away his scoring career highs. He already has his third-highest goals total for a single season in his career with 13.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Jersey Devils vs Pittsburgh Penguins<\/span><\/h3>\n

Head to Head: Devils 1-0 Penguins<\/span><\/h4>\n

Last Friday, the New Jersey Devils<\/a> got the better end of the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>, walking out of Prudential Center with a 2-1 victory. They hope to replicate that success on the road, as they travel to Pittsburgh in hopes of taking a 2-0 lead for the season series. That will be a tough order for a struggling Devils squad, but another win could help this team turn their season around. They will need P.K. Subban<\/a><\/strong> to step up to the plate tonight if they hope to win.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Penguins cannot be happy about their loss to New Jersey. Pittsburgh has higher quality talent than the Devils by a mile but it wasn\u2019t enough to beat them the first time around. A win won\u2019t come easy to them though. The Devils and Penguins both have similar records over their last 10 games with five wins each. This game could end up being surprisingly competitive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prediction: Penguins win 5-2<\/span><\/p>\n
