Fabbri had been struggling to find a place in the lineup with the Stanley Cup champions. However, he was languishing in the Blues\u2019 bottom-six forward group. St. Louis does have exciting forwards like <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/tarasvl01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Vladimir Tarasenko<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/schenbr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brayden <\/a><\/strong><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/schenbr01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Schenn<\/strong><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> on the team. Fabbri was hoping for sustained playing time when he signed a one-year, $900,000 deal.
