He left the game and did return.<\/p>\n<p>The 27-year-old has three goals and seven assists over 10 games so far this season. He&#8217;s has a Corsi for 51.5 and a relative Corsi of 3.4.<\/p>\n<p>The Yaroslavl, Russia native has played all eight NHL seasons with the Blues. He&#8217;s scored 214 goals and supplied 214 assists for 428 points in 507 career games. St. Louis originally drafted him in the first round, 16th overall of the 2010 NHL Draft.<\/p>\n<p>Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhl.com\/blues\/news\/tarasenko-to-miss-five-months-with-shoulder-injury\/c-310583046\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">will address the media<\/a> about the injury on Tuesday at the team&#8217;s practice facility.<\/p>\n<p>Tarasenko has had shoulder issues in the past as he dislocated his left shoulder in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Boston Bruins. He also had surgery on the same shoulder at the end of the 2017-18 season. It was also for a dislocation.<\/p>\n<h2>What This Means for the Future<\/h2>\n<p>St. Louis star forward was on a five-game point streak before the injury sidelined him. He&#8217;s the team&#8217;s biggest scoring threat and has been a 30-goal scorer the last five seasons.<\/p>\n<p>The Blues forward depth will be tested without Tarasenko in the lineup. However, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/thomaro01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robert Thomas<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/s\/sundqos01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oskar Sundqvist<\/a><\/strong> played well in Sunday&#8217;s win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/red-wings\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Detroit Red Wings<\/a>. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/p\/perroda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">David Perron<\/a><\/strong> will also get more opportunities to pick up the scoring load.<\/p>\n<p>St. Louis may also recall <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/k\/kyroujo01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jordan Kyrou<\/a> <\/strong>and <strong>Klim Kostin<\/strong> from AHL San Antonio to cover roster spots.
