According to Hailey Salavin of The Athletic Ottawa<\/a>, the Ottawa Senators<\/a> will be without forwards Colin White<\/a><\/strong> and Artem Anisimov<\/a><\/strong>. White will be out 3-5 weeks with a hip flexor\/groin injury. While Anisimov will be out 1-2 weeks with a lower-body injury.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Artem Anisimov is out 1-2 weeks to rehab a lower body injury that kept him out earlier last week.<\/p>\n

Both injuries are why we are seeing Brown and Beaudin called up.<\/p>\n

Colin White and Artem Anisimov Injured<\/h2>\n

While nobody knows when White’s injury actually occurred, the young forward for the Senators tried to play through the pain against the Dallas Stars<\/a> on Monday before the decision to shut him down. After a breakout campaign last season, where White set career highs in games played (71), goals (14), and assists (27), he was rewarded with a new six-year, $28.5 million contract in August. So far this season in eight games with the Senators White has one goal and two points in eight games with the Senators this season.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Anisimov will go back out of the lineup with a lower-body injury that was hampering him. Before returning to the lineup on Monday night against the Stars, Anisimov had missed the last three games and had not suited up since October 12th. In four games this season, Anisimov has one goal and a minus -6 rating.<\/p>\n

What Lies Ahead<\/h3>\n

With Anisimov and White out of the lineup for several weeks, the Senators recalled Logan Brown<\/a><\/strong> and J.C. Beaudin<\/strong> from the American Hockey League. It appears that Beaudin will get into the lineup for the struggling Senators tonight against the Detroit Red Wings<\/a>. According to line rushes from the morning he was centering Tyler Ennis<\/a><\/strong> and Scott Sabourin<\/a><\/strong>. Look for both players to rotate in and out of the lineup as the Senators look to generate more offense this season.<\/p>\n
