Previous rumours have stated that the deal could be eight years at $8.25 million per season. That\u2019s the same money that the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonhockey.com\/nhl-teams\/coyotes\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Coyotes<\/a> paid defenceman <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/ekmanol01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oliver Ekman-Larsson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Sportnet\u2019s Elliotte Friedman added that 29-year-old&#8217;s agent were supposed to meet with general manager Doug Armstrong ahead of Monday\u2019s game at the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pietrangelo would have gotten substantial offers had he listened to other team\u2019s offers. Dunn has played well in his tenure with the team and should be a due a nice raise. He even added a game-winner in Saturday\u2019s game. The young forward has always been full of offensive potential. However, he has not been able to secure a full-time role in the Oilers\u2019 lineup.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Anaheim would love to get their hands on a playmaker like <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Puljujarvi<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/r\/ritchni01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nick Ritchie<\/a> <\/strong>has been a healthy scratch for coach <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/e\/eakinda01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dallas Eakins<\/a> and may be a bargaining chip. Ritchie\u2019s deal runs through the 2020-21 season and has a cap hit of just under $1.5 million. The Hurricanes do a good job of using advanced stats to go after potential targets.
