It\u2019s time for another batch of our NHL <\/span>rumours<\/span> on this Tuesday. We\u2019re a week into the regular season, but plenty of teams are trying to make moves. General managers are trying to plan for future seasons or kickstart <\/span>slow<\/span> starts to the season. Today\u2019s NHL <\/span>rumours<\/span> swirl around the St. Louis Blues<\/a>, Jesse <\/strong><\/span>Puljujarvi<\/strong> and the <\/span>Vancouer Canucks<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

St. Louis Blues<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Rumour: Jamie Rivers<\/a> of ESPN 101\u2019s Stalter and Rivers show said that the Blues and team captain Alex Pietrangelo<\/a> <\/strong>are close to inking an extension. Previous rumours have stated that the deal could be eight years at $8.25 million per season. That\u2019s the same money that the Arizona Coyotes<\/a> paid defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Sportnet\u2019s Elliotte Friedman added that 29-year-old’s agent were supposed to meet with general manager Doug Armstrong ahead of Monday\u2019s game at the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pietrangelo\u2019s representation is from Newport and may have laid the groundwork of a new deal with the team.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
