This is the same amount as last year \u2013 a far cry from the six they had in 2015, which was the most of any NHL club. Nonetheless, the three of them\u00a0had respectable performances, with two helping bring home a gold medal for the USA. Here is the Winnipeg Jets World Juniors report card.<\/p>\n<h2>Winnipeg Jets World Juniors Report Card<\/h2>\n<h3>Michael Spacek, RW, Czech Republic<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/widgets.eliteprospects.com\/player.php?player=199564\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Michael Spacek<\/a><\/strong> finished his World Junior showing with a goal and two assists in five games. This is a repeat honor for Spacek, having been named a top player at last year&#8217;s tournament as well.<\/p>\n<p>Spacek was seventh in WHL scoring with 42 points in 30 games before leaving\u00a0to represent the Czech Republic. He&#8217;ll rejoin a middling Red Deer Rebels team\u00a0looking to solidify their spot in the WHL playoff picture.<\/p>\n<p><em>Final Grade: B+<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Jack Roslovic, C,\u00a0United States<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/widgets.eliteprospects.com\/player.php?player=226309\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jack Roslovic<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was the third-line centre on a\u00a0gold-medal-winning United States team. He tallied two helpers during the seven-game run.<\/p>\n<p>A notable tournament moment for Roslovic features him flashing some incredible hand-eye coordination while carrying the puck and splitting the Russian defense.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sick stickwork and hand-eye from Winnipeg Jets prospect Jack Roslovic <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WJC2017?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#WJC2017<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/cDhA9Qu6am\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/cDhA9Qu6am<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Brady Trettenero (@BradyTrett) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BradyTrett\/status\/816756142466469888?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">January 4, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Having a deep forward lineup with skillful players such as Roslovic in third and fourth-line roles played an integral role the United States leaving the tournament victorious.<\/p>\n<p>Roslovic will return to the AHL where he leads the Manitoba Moose in points with 19. It&#8217;s been a strong showing for Roslovic, who is on pace for a 58-point AHL season. He&#8217;s well on his way to having one of the best AHL seasons ever by a 19-year-old. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quanthockey.com\/ahl\/en\/player-age\/19-year-old-ahl-players.html\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Only five players<\/a> have put up more than 58 points at his age. One can only imagine that\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/c\/connoky01.html?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kyle Connor<\/a><\/strong>&#8216;s recent re-assignment will help him keep on with his pace.<\/p>\n<p>Roslovic could very well find himself centering the Jets third line next season.<\/p>\n<p><em>Final Grade: B+<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>Erik Foley, LW, United States<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/widgets.eliteprospects.com\/player.php?player=212561\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Erik Foley<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>bounced around from\u00a0fourth and third-line wing throughout the tournament. Though he is used to playing top-six minutes, this was a good glimpse of what he could look like in a\u00a0bottom-six\u00a0NHL role.<\/p>\n<p>He had a primary assist on <a href=\"https:\/\/widgets.eliteprospects.com\/player.php?player=234046\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Troy Terry<\/strong><\/a>&#8216;s game-winning goal against Russia in the preliminary round. Hopefully this is something he minimizes if and when he cracks the\u00a0Jets lineup in the next few years. If he doesn&#8217;t he will fit right in a Jets group who have the second-most\u00a0minor penalties.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheDraftAnalyst\/status\/814600644887715840<\/p>\n<p>Foley will continue\u00a0his sophomore campaign at Providence College. He is second in team scoring with 15 points in 16 games. He is also a top-25 player in Hockey East points per game.<\/p>\n<p>Despite his 5&#8217;11&#8221; frame, he possesses traditional bottom-line checking-role traits with\u00a0some offensive upside.
