The 34-year-old totaled one goal and two assists for three points in 66 games with the Flyers. He also supplied a goal and an assist in eight Stanley Cup Playoff games. The Naples, Florida native averaged 10 minutes, 24 seconds of ice time with Philadelphia. He had a Corsi for of 40.9 and a relative Corsi of -8.3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The veteran forward has 76 goals and 76 assists for 163 points in 672 career games. Hathaway was undrafted free agent that signed with the Flames after a strong college hockey career at Brown University.\u00a0He led the Flyers in hits with 252, which was good enough for ninth among all skaters in the league.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"max-width: px\"><smartframe-embed class=\"smartframe_wp_element\" customer-id=\"b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf\" image-id=\"WmOBzzKeKWKq\" style=\"width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 3600px; aspect-ratio: 3600\/2400;\" ><\/smartframe-embed><\/p>\n<p><span>(Credit Image: \u00a9 Eric Canha\/Cal Sport Media)<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>What It Means<\/h3>\n<p>The move adds more nastiness to a Florida club looking to get back into the playoffs after injuries were too much to overcome. Florida already added <a  target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/t\/tkachbr01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-06-25_hr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Brady Tkachuk<\/a> the roster from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/hockey\/2026\/06\/21\/brady-tkachuk-trade\/\" target=\"_self\">Ottawa Senators<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>However, Hathaway will add some bite to the bottom part of the lineup. He&#8217;ll fit into the bottom six and be able to throw his weight around.<\/p>\n<p>This move also means that <a  target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hockey-reference.com\/players\/g\/greeraj01.html?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=lastwordonsports.com&amp;utm_campaign=2026-06-25_hr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">A.J. Greer<\/a> will likely move on from the team. It seems that Greer will look to cash in on his success with a different team.
