The Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers play their final game of the season, with Stanley Cup Playoff matchups still in the air. Vancouver sits at 25-48-8 after 81 games, with 58 points, while Edmonton sits at 40-30-11 after 81 games, with 91 points. This is the fourth and final meeting between the two teams. Edmonton decisively won their last meeting, 6-0, on January 17th.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Canucks Story<\/h3>\n

Vancouver has rattled off three straight wins, two in overtime, one in a shootout. It is good that they are closing off the season with some positivity, despite finishing in last place in the league. Young players like Zeev Buium<\/a> dazzled in his last game against the Los Angeles Kings, and he has shown signs of improvement. In a lost season, that is all you can really ask for. Here’s to a better season ahead for the Canucks, but they will need to navigate through an important offseason first.<\/p>\n
