We open up NHL predictions with our featured game<\/a> between the Montreal Canadiens<\/a> and the Philadelphia Flyers.<\/a> Jakub Dobes<\/a> is the expected starter for the Canadiens but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Habs have already clinched a Stanley Cup Playoff spot and have an 8-2 record in the last 10 games. Nick Suzuki<\/a> surpassed the 100-point mark for the first time in his career.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel Vladar<\/a> is the probable starter for the Flyers, who are also back in the postseason. Philadelphia is 7-3 in its last 10 games and looking to get ready for its showdown with the Pittsburgh Penguins<\/a>. Travis Konecny<\/a> has 68 points to lead the team this season.<\/p>\n

Both teams are in the postseason but still have seeding to play for. However, Montreal gets the win.<\/p>\n

Our second game has the Carolina Hurricanes<\/a> taking on the already eliminated New York Islanders.<\/a> Frederik Andersen<\/a> is the probable starter for Carolina, which is the top seed in the Eastern Conference. The Canes are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games but are coming off a loss to the Flyers last time out. Seth Jarvis<\/a> is first on the team in goals with 32.<\/p>\n

Ilya Sorokin<\/a> is the likely starter for the Isles, who are just playing out the string. The Islanders blew a massive chance to make the postseason after a late-season swoon. Mathew Barzal<\/a> is first on the team in points with 71, including 52 assists.<\/p>\n

We may see some different lineup with the regular season already determined. However, Carolina should record the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Hurricanes win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

The last game of this round of NHL predictions could be one of the final games for Alex Ovechkin<\/a> as the Washington Capitals<\/a> visit the Columbus Blue Jackets.<\/a> Logan Thompson<\/a> is the projected starter for the Caps, who are 7-3 in their previous 10 games. However, it’s too little too late for Washington. Ovechkin is currently sitting on a team-leading 32 goals.<\/p>\n

Jet Greaves<\/a> is slated to get the call for the Blue Jackets, who are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games. The coaching change to Rick Bowness<\/a> gave Columbus some hope. However, a late-season dip cost the Blue Jackets a postseason spot. Adam Fantilli<\/a> has four points in his last 10 games.<\/p>\n

This could be one of the final times we see the Great Eight on the ice. Washington should get the win in this one.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Capitals win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Habs and Flyers is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.<\/p>\n

As far as individual props go, take Cole Caufield<\/a> to add another goal to his tally for Montreal. On the Philadelphia side of things, take Trevor Zegras<\/a> to get at least a point.<\/p>\n
