Our opening and featured game of NHL predictions has the Montreal Canadiens<\/a> visiting the New York Islanders<\/a>. Jacob Fowler<\/a> is slated to get the start after Jakub Dobes<\/a> got the call last game. However, always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. The Habs still have a chance to win the Atlantic Division title with two games left to go. Nick Suzuki<\/a> needs one point in the final two games to reach the 100-point mark.<\/p>\n

Ilya Sorokin<\/a> is projected to get the start for the Islanders, who are fighting for their Stanley Cup Playoff lives. The Isles sit three points off the last automatic spot in the Metropolitan Division. However, the Long Islanders will need things to fall their way in order to reach the postseason. Mathew Barzal<\/a> leads the team in assists (52) and points (71).<\/p>\n

The Isles will be desperate. However, the Canadiens should finish off the Islanders.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Boston Bruins vs Columbus Blue Jackets<\/h2>\n

Head-to-Head: Bruins 2-0 Blue Jackets<\/h3>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions has another team desperate to keep their postseason hopes alive as the Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> host the Boston Bruins.<\/a> Joonas Korpisalo<\/a> is the likely starter and will have a chance to take on one of his former teams. The Bruins have already clinched a postseason spot, so their lineup may have some changes. Morgan Geekie<\/a> leads the team in goals with<\/p>\n

Columbus is expected to get Jet Graves the start in this must-win game. The Blue Jackets are coming off a massive win over the Canadiens to keep their faint chances alive. Columbus is two points off the last automatic divisional spot held by the Philadelphia Flyers. Kirill Marchenko<\/a> leads the team in goals (27) and points (67) for the Jackets.<\/p>\n

We could see a different lineup for Boston in this game. Columbus should take advantage of this.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Blue Jackets win 4-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Utah Mammoth vs Calgary Flames<\/h2>\n

Head-to-Head: Mammoth 1-1 Flames<\/h3>\n

Time:<\/strong> 9 p<\/span>.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our last game<\/a> of NHL predictions has the Utah Mammoth <\/a>battling the Calgary Flames.<\/a> Utah is expected to give Vitek Vanecek<\/a> the start in between the pipes in this one. The Mammoth have a 6-4 mark in the last 10 games but did lose to the Carolina Hurricanes<\/a> last time out. Clayton Keller<\/a> is the team’s leader in points with 84.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dustin Wolf<\/a> is projected to get the start for Calgary, which is just playing out the string. The Flames are 4-4-2 in their previous 10 games, including three consecutive defeats. Matthew Coronato<\/a> is first on the team in assists (26) and points (43).<\/p>\n

Utah still has plenty to play for because it wants a better opening-round matchup.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Mammoth win 5-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We finish up NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Habs and the Isles is 6.5, and we like the under in this game.<\/p>\n

As for individual props, take Suzuki to get that 100th point for Montreal. On the New York side of things, go with Anders Lee<\/a> to score a goal.<\/p>\n
