We open up NHL predictions with our featured game<\/a> between the Columbus Blue Jackets <\/a>and the Montreal Canadiens.<\/a> Jet Greaves<\/a> is the confirmed starter for the Blue Jackets, who are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games. Columbus has picked the wrong time to have its season go off the rails. The Jackets were four points off the last wild card spot in the East heading into Saturday’s games. Adam Fantilli<\/a> has scored twice in the last 10 games for Columbus.<\/p>\n

Jakub Dobes<\/a> will get the nod for Montreal, which is still in the hunt for the Atlantic Division title coming into the weekend. The Habs are winners of nine of their last 10 games and were in second place in the division. Cole Caufield<\/a> became the first 50-goal scorer for the Canadiens since Stephane Richer<\/a> did in the 1989-90 season.<\/span><\/p>\n

These teams are heading into opposite directions. The Canadiens should take care of business in this game.<\/p>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions is a game that should have meant more between the Florida Panthers<\/a> versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/a> Daniil Tarasov<\/a> will get the start for the Panthers, 3-6-1 in their previous 10 games. This includes a four-game losing skid entering this matchup of two eliminated teams. A.J. Greer<\/a> has four points in his last 10 games for Florida.<\/span><\/p>\n

Joseph Woll<\/a> is the confirmed starter for the Maple Leafs, who are 3-5-2 in their last 10 games. Toronto has also lost its last four games and could be in line for some massive changes in the offseason. John Tavares<\/a> has four goals and four assists for eight points in the last eight games.<\/p>\n

This game will still have some emotion. However, Florida should record the win.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Panthers win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Vegas Golden Knights vs Colorado Avalanche<\/h2>\n

Time:<\/strong> 8 p<\/span>.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our last game of NHL predictions is a big matchup between the Vegas Golden Knights<\/a> and the Colorado Avalanche.<\/a> Adin Hill<\/a> is the expected starter for the Golden Knights. However, always check social media before picking a daily fantasy starter. Vegas is 5-2-3 in its last 10 games and Jack Eichel<\/a> is first in points with 83.<\/p>\n

Mackenzie Blackwood<\/a> is the projected starter for Colorado, which is 7-3 in the last 10 games. The President’s Trophy winners have victories in three of its last four games. Nathan MacKinnon<\/a> is making his case for the Hart Trophy with 126 points.<\/p>\n

Vegas has struggled to keep Colorado off the scoreboard. The Avs should continue that trend.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s go back to our featured game for our preferred props. The over\/under for the Habs versus the Blue Jackets is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.<\/p>\n

As far as individual props, take Kirill Marchenko<\/a> to score for Columbus. On the Montreal side of things, go with Nick Suzuki<\/a> to get at least a point.<\/p>\n
