We open up<\/a> NHL predictions with a key Eastern Conference battle between the Columbus Blue Jackets<\/a> and the Montreal Canadiens.<\/a> Jet Greaves<\/a> is the expected starter for the Blue Jackets but always check social media before locking in a daily fantasy starter. Columbus is coming into this game with a 6-1-3 record in its last 10 games. The Blue Jackets come into this game second place in the Metropolitan Division. Zach Werenski<\/a> has nine points, including eight assists, in his last 10 games played.<\/p>\n

Jakub Dobes<\/a> is the projected starter for the Canadiens, who are 6-3-1 in their previous 10 games. The Canadiens are in the middle of that massive jumble in the Atlantic Division and the East. Montreal’s two-game winning streak comes at the right time, but it needs to keep getting points. Cole Caufield<\/a> has 11 points, including six goals for Montreal.<\/p>\n

Both teams are playing well at this time. However, the Habs get the job done at home.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Canadiens win 4-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Colorado Avalanche vs Winnipeg Jets<\/h2>\n

Our second game of NHL predictions is a Central Division matchup between the Colorado Avalanche<\/a> and the Winnipeg Jets.<\/a> Scott Wedgewood<\/a> is the likely starter for the Avalanche, who are 6-3-1 in their last 10 games. This includes a three-game winning streak for the division leaders. Martin Necas<\/a> has three goals and five assists for eight points in his last 10 games.<\/span><\/p>\n

Connor Hellebuyck<\/a> is the probable starter for the Jets, who are 5-3-2 in their previous 10 games. Winnipeg has won its last two games entering this divisional showdown. Mark Scheifele<\/a> and Kyle Connor<\/a> are tied for the team’s lead in goals with 32.<\/p>\n

The Jets have been playing better. However, Colorado should keep its momentum going.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Avalanche win 3-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Time:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>9:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)<\/p>\n

Our final and featured game of NHL predictions has the Edmonton Oilers<\/a> taking on the Vegas Golden Knights.<\/a> Connor Ingram<\/a> is the projected starter for the Oilers, who are 5-3-2 in their last 10 games. However, Edmonton got a big win over the Utah Mammoth<\/a> last time out. Connor McDavid<\/a> leads the way in points with 118, which is tops in the entire NHL.<\/p>\n

Adin Hill<\/a> is the expected starter for the Golden Knights, who are 3-7 in their previous 10 games. This includes losses in four of its last five games entering this important Pacific Division matchup. Jack Eichel<\/a> is first on the club in points with 74.<\/p>\n

We could see this as a possible Stanley Cup Playoff preview. However, Edmonton has had Vegas’ number in the past few seasons.<\/p>\n

Prediction: Oilers win 5-3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Best Bets<\/h3>\n

We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. Let’s stay with our featured game for our favourite props. The over\/under for the Oilers and the Golden Knights is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.<\/p>\n
